I found this frog near the "taferlklaussee". I catched him and my girlfriend has taken the shot.

Very interesting little critter. I heard that some of these vibrant colored ones are very poisonous....do we know what kind this is? Very good job and excellent post.

Thx for your comments! This one is not poisonous. It is a "Moorfrosch" (Rana arvalis). I manipulated the color to b&w and do the frog a little pit more red.

this is so cool! i love how big the hands are, and how little the frog is. and of course i love that the frog is the only color in this, very powerful. love the water on the hands and the frog, truly a great capture! ~abby
