I also like how you centered it in the shot, and there's a nice contrast between the stone and the bright blue sky :)

A wonderful capture Fay & so nicely composed. A bit out of focus though. I think it would be nice to see the textures of the stone more defined. Other than that .... I love the colors contrasts & the subject is interesting.

Yes good idea the only thing is the edges are a little out of focus perhaps it's the way you have the camera setup has it got different focusing modes like centre spot or wide ?,experiment a bit cos you have the right idea as far as subjects go....Richie.

Hi Fay! My only suggestion for this fine image would be to watch the composition a bit. To me, the blurry part is in the lower section, looks like maybe there was a fence that is causing the blur. And the top of the castle is cut off. Perhaps if you raised your camera and adjusted the angle a bit to avoid the fence and get more of the top of the castle into the photo it would of improved the shot. I imagine you are not able to run back outside and try another shot at it, lol, but you could try cropping the fence out of the bottom section to see if that has an impact on the overall clarity of this image. Look forward to seeing more of your work!

Good picture Fay but as someone suggested a better camera would have given better results. Keep it up. I'm sure you will get better and better as you seem to have an eye for good pictures.

Great Eye again Miss Fay. I love your ideas. You are on the right track and I do believe you see things differently than most people. I love this image and the way you have the sky as your backdrop. I agree with above...maybe a little money for a good starter camera and you could be producing some beautiful images. Keep up the great work....don't get discouraged...keep doing what you love to do....and we will keep enjoying your work.

Nice shot but the resolution is really way too small for any sort of wallpaper. People should really tell you that these days 800x600 is worthless as a wallpaper or even a photo. Not harsh just reality.

Hello Fay....I like the low angle of this shot,it certainly Shows off the might of the castle.... Great scenic shots aren't created by Mother Nature-they're made by you the photographer....It is very impotant that you get to know the basic operation of your camera and only by effort and endeavour that you'll discover how to take good pictures....I love photography and everday is a school day,I am always learning....Get out as much as you can and keep that camera clicking.....Well done on your picture....All the best to you Fay...................................................Mick
