This is a lovely shot of the flower buds as they slowly unfurl to their full beauty. I like the position of the flowers which leaves plenty of room for desktop icons. Also the foliage which we can barely see gives a suggestion of the larger garden.

I probably would have liked a more intense shade of the color of the rose buds. But I definitely like the contrast and sharpness of the main object and the background.

I also like the contrast between the dark background and the flowers!
