A young male gang gang cockatoo. His red crest is still developing and he has no white in his eyes. These birds are rather shy and are infrequent visitors to my garden. They have a very harsh call which has been likened to opening a door with rusty hinges.

This bird looks like something we'd see in a zoo here Frank. Hard to believe they're in the wild in Australia! Such a gorgeous shot with excellent clarity and color!! Outstanding capture!

A cunning capture of this young fellow. I like the details of his eating the leaf - bright eyed with soft appearing feathers and a pretty crest growing in. Good composition Frank, and colours too!
