The crimson rosella is a very common bird in our area. I have several whom I hand feed. I am not sure if this bloke had an itchy beak or was just acting coy.

OH my Goodness Frank, your so lucky to have such gorgeous vivid coloured birds, he's absolutely beautiful abd does look like he's playing coy.

Is he a variant on a parrot? Beautiful bird, and I think that if he is new to your garden, he is just working off a bit of nervousness. Did he get his treats?
