One of the many unspoilt beaches on The Great Ocean Road Victoria. This one is located south of Lorne, where the Cumberland River flows out to the sea.
OH, I love this Frank. Fabulous big waves out there and all the textures & depth the rocks create, and the hanging roots from above, also beautiful colours, lighting and clarity.
I'm used to seeing the miniature version of these types of rocks. In fact, we use them in our planters around our bushes and such. I was really shocked to see how large they are! Beautiful and excellent shot Frank! Love it!

Oh Frank..I just love the way you got the rocks..they actually look as tho they are flowing down from the sand bank. It takes quite a bit of force for the waves to wash those ashore, that's for sure. I just really like the angle from where you took this photo. These are the kind of stones we find in the rivers here, and we call them River Rocks because they are so very smooth. Going to save this shot . I would love to walk this beach. Do you come here often? Thanx for a great shot. Verena
Wow...beautiful capture, Frank! I especially love those smooth rocks and the brown foliage/roots cascading from the sand dune, like a waterfall! I also love all the earth tones and movement in the river! Excellent perspective! Saved.
