Nelson Falls is normally a gorgeous wall of water tumbling some 30m in an upside down wine glass shape. Situated between Derwent Bridge and Queenstown, it's only a 20-minute return walk to experience this waterfall and provides a good stretch for the legs as you drive the Lyell Highway through the largely undeveloped Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park in the Tasmanian Wilderness. In times of low water flow it resembles a hanging garden.

Fabulous view of this woodland paradise, Frank. The little platform in the foreground helps give the picture a sense of scale, too.

I like the way you framed the falls with the trees. Excellent shot, Frank.

A nice looking scene and capture of the falls. I like the perspective leading us down to the rock face framed by the trees to either side. A good job.
