Storm clouds gather above Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. With a population of above 400,000, it is also the country's largest city. It is located in southwestern Slovakia on both banks of the Danube River. Bordering Austria and Hungary, it is the only national capital that borders two independent countries. Bratislava and Vienna are two of the closest European national capitals to each other, at less than 60 kilometres (37 miles) apart.

That sky does look threatening. A really atmospheric view of this beautiful city Frank.

Such clarity... you make all the lines seem so clean. Love the dark sky against the bright red roofs.

Hello Frank...A beautiful scene...I like the way the light is striking certain parts of the buildings...The dark sky certainly helps to enhance the colours of the buildings....Well done....All the best to you Frank.....................................................Mick.

I too especially enjoy the details enhanced by that sky. The contrasts and lines of perspective are very nice. Saved.
