Hill End is a quaint village located in the heart of central western New South Wales. Between 1872 and 1873 at the height of the gold mining boom, Hill End boasted a population of around 8,000 (and 28 pubs). Hill End is listed on the register of the National Estate as a relatively ‘intact’ gold-boom townscape and has been a managed cultural asset since 1967 when it was declared an ‘historic site’ of national significance. The Old Rectory is one of the surviving buildings.

I love the colors and textures in this photo, they are beautiful. The old fence with lichen and moss adds
character. Very nice work!

People use that type of fencing to direct the snow away from buildings and drives around here Frank.
Cool blast from the past.

The weathered textures and colors really come through on this Frank.

I like that rickety old fence at the front of this capture, and also the whole composition. Well done!
