This beautiful old 1890s building was the communication hub of Hill End. Over time it has functioned as the post office and the village manual telephone exchange until the system was automated. Today it is part residence, part post office.

Another fine composition, Frank. Although somewhat hidden (this improves however the charm of your image), the kind of architecture can be seen very well. Typical for its time again!

Regards, Cornelius.

Super capture and composition Frank, really like the fence adding such texture and also love the style of building, looks like the road is dirt.

I like this photo a great deal . I like how you used Mother Nature to frame the shot. Very well done.

I too like the use of the trees for framing and I like the architectural style a lot. It reminds me of some of the prairie architecture seen in my country.

Part residence, part post-office and 100% history. I love these old post-offices and I like to imagine the conversations between the postmaster and the people coming in.
