There were so many elements in this entrance to a house in Rothenburg, that I just had to capture it.

Yep! Looks just like the entrance to my trailer! LOL. I love the textures in the stones there and that gate and posts are really nice. Very nice shot, Frank.

You are right, there are many elements here of interest all in one tiny corner and entrance to number 2. I love those plants which seem to really make a grand entrance too. The only thing I would have tried to do with this is just straighten it abit as it looks slightly tilted, but otherwise a lovely capture. Well spotted.

When reading the title and viewing the 'thumbnail', I had the intention tou ask you whether I have missed #1 or not, Frank, but I've seen now at full screen size that your title stands for the number of the house.

Very nice capture to me.

Regards, Cornelius.

I'm going to try to count them, left to right...
Ancient stone wall, with a bit of brick, some sort of entrance in the wall, 2 flower pots with flowers, 2 pedistals with balls on top, gate, house number, high window, plant behind gate, roofed porch, house door, tall pipe, pedistal for pipe, green shutter. I might have gotten lost going from the gate to the door, looking at the scenic points along the way! Fun pic, and i hope you took a closeup of the wall to use as a muted background to a bouquet of flowers or something if the need arises.
