Pepper trees, a South American species, are a common tree in rural Australia. They are drought tolerant and with their strong root system wind resistant as well. This one provides a shady retreat in the Old Port area of Echuca.

The lighting even those harsh, seems to enhance the image. Well focused, sharp and clear. I like that old tree, but also really like the rustic looking buildings. =^..^=tigs

I don't believe I've ever seen a pepper tree Frank but it does look sturdy with very delicate leaf structure however. Well captured.
