One of our best excursions on Norfolk Island was a 3 hour wagon ride to the cliff tops where we enjoyed morning tea. The wagon was pulled by these 2 beautiful clydesdales - Buddy and Sam. Buddy on the left is 13 and Sam 20. These gentle giants are each capable of hauling 3 tons and handled the wagon and 8 passengers with ease.

A 3 hour ride? These horses got a workout. Sam is quite old but he must be in good shape. Looks like fun.

Sam and Buddy must be getting tired of the daily 3 hour climb up the cliffs. Good shot, Frank.

I too would love to go on that trip up the cliffs Frank - I love to see the Clydesdales which I've seen several times at Fairs and horseraces pulling the Annheiser-Busch wagons.
