Not my best photo, but driving through Belfast you can't help but be touched by the number of murals commemorating the sectarian violence known as the "Troubles" that occurred between the late 1960s up to 1998. Bobby Sands was an Irish nationalist who led a hunger strike in prison in 1981. He was elected Member of Parliament during the strike and died May 5, 1981.
