November is good time to visit Seal Island with breeding season in full swing for around 5000 Australian Fur Seals. The island is just a 30 minute cruise from Phillip Island home of the famous nightly Penguin Parade https://www.visitphillipisland.com.au/products/phillip-island-nature-parks-penguin-parade

Frank, I wonder how you were able to capture this scene. The sea state and the pretty rough environment make it not to an easy job. But you've succeeded in doing this very well.
Very interesting and good photograph.

A great capture and thats a good big colony there. We have NZ fur seals on our coast here and we also have a colony of Little Blue Penguins. I believe you call them Fairy Penguins. We stayed within the penguin area at Phillip Island with a relative some years ago. Hers was the only house within the area that got locked at night. It was great to be so close to the penguins but boy did they make a racket at night. I think many were nesting around and beneath her house.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
