I've been looking at Caedes for ages now and I thought I really needed to become a member and try and give a little bit back to all of you amazing people who create these amazing images. So here's my first attempt... This was taken on my School's 1st XV rugby tour to New Zealand and Fiji. I apologise that it's not great quality but I thought it looked quite good. I could be wrong though, as I have absolutely no expertise or knowledge in photography whatsoever so all your tips, thoughts and views would be greatly appreciated.

Wow! I love this photo! The motion in the shot is perfect. Love how you brought out the tables. I think you have a winner! Into my favs it goes!!!

Would you think anyone would download this for a desk top wallpaper? Go to the discussion board to the left, and you will find a lot of great advice from members here for what we are looking for, and the type of images that are wallpaper quality.

Hi Aston, welcome to Caedes! As for your shot, I would have liked to have seen this shot with the tables racked up and nobody in the picture, but accept that may have been difficult or even impossible to achieve! However, I think this shot is very creative, and love the way you have bought out the colour in the tables. Was that their original colour? All in all, a very good first post, look forward to seeing more.

Welcome to Caedes, Aston. I will watch as your 30s become 70s 80s and 90s. You have great ideas and you will give Caedes better shots. keep up with it you will become a better photo artist.

Great shot, i love the motion captured in the shot and the framing of the shot. I also like how you only left part of the pool tables in colour. This is an excellent image, ignore the c-index. This certainly isn't great as a wallpaper.. nor do i think it has to be.

Haha, yeah sadly it was the place in New Zealand and not a church I found with a lot of Pool tables in. Thanks a lot for your comments everyone, they are much appreciated and hopefully your help will help me get the hang of this. And yeah, that's the pool tables original colour. Thanks again.
