...and here is a better view of Sinclairs Oyster Bar, The Shambles in Manchester. It is hard to believe that this building dates back to 1720, even before the Industrial Revolution. It is tucked away just around the corner from 'the Triangle' shopping area. The building has a very charming interior - it is full of beams, nooks and crannies and has an old twisty staircase.

Yes very good beer and it is not too expensive either! I think the slopes backwards, but it is hard to see from this angle. The lower parts are more visible.

So charming! You captured this well, too but boy, would I love to be in that bar right now, seeing all the craftsmanship. Not the beer, na, the wood and stuff. Ok, maybe one beer and an oyster! - Patty

Nope, I don't do oysters. Can't stand them raw. Nice capture of this place for people who do eat oysters. The bottom half of the composition is a little dark and causes me to wish for more detail.

Well, I'm here Patti but I don't see Dan- He must already be inside getting a head start on us LOL. This is a very well preserved building and I absolutely love the architecture of it. I would love to see that staircase- is it made of wood?. Thanks so much Patti for the tour- I have enjoyed it very much.

Thanks Patti. These shot have really gotten my interest up in the local history there. I'll have a pint and a dozen oysters to start with,
