...soooo Jerry! here is my very own 'Steven's mountain' view (I know! it is more like a hill view) lol! I am just promoting my sons photography - photograph taken in the Lake District by my son Steven - and I made him so he must have inherited my talent so I can take credit somewhere along the line - ok I just posted it! ;)

He certainly has your eye for a picture. I like the stillness of the water leading to the mist in the distance. The drop also looks spectacular.

Great post Patti. He did very good. I was going to say, you must have been pretty high up to get this. I do like the depth and the feeling that the mountain tops are going right into the clouds. Very well done. You for making him and he for taking this ;)

Congratulations to Steven. He's certainly more than just a budding photographer, he seems to be blossoming already. Such a mood setting and charming capture. I like the way the land on either side of the lake in the foreground creates a solid base for the misty mountains in the background. :)PJ

This is unique scene. it appears like we are in very high altitude. That perspective is frightening in a way. I can jsut see myself in a boat at full speed and...................................(runs and hides).

Well Patty, looking at it, for me it is more like a group of mountains, rather than hills.
The back drop behind the lake looks quiet severe.
I am not sure how old your son is , but he is sertanly showing a great deal of talent in composing a image, or when to take a shot. I hope he will continue with it, and maybe we have a new member here soon. The light in this image is so nicely distributed, from total black water down left, to a fine white and blue sky in top.

Steven has done very well...as much as I look(and it not from lack of clarity), I can not figure out if the lake fades in the distance or just falls off the end. Great capture ->>> Favs and dl

This is a truly awesome picture! I love the continuous feel of the colors. There is awesome contrast, but the colors also feel continuous and match with each other. The picture has a great peaceful feel. Makes me wish I was there with a notebook or laptop. I could get some great inspiration there. Just beautiful. Great focus, good angle, cool color, all together awesome. I love it. Tell your kid to keep up the good work, and someday he'll be a professional photographer. I'll expect to see his name on one of those 3 inch thick coffee table books you see that have all the pics from around the world in them.
