....these trees were so beautiful and probably very old and I can't believe they are not yet golden - I thought "wow! how beautiful when I saw the path" and it was so peaceful and quiet! :) - photograph taken this afternoon in Great Budworth Cheshire - and yes this is my third photo upload today - I deleted the fog on the lake which was boring! ;)

Judging by the thickness of the trees, these are aproximatly 200 years old Patty.
I certanly see why you liked this place a lot, just lovely those old trees.
Did not know you could upload 3 images ! i tried once, when i deleted one, but that did not work then ! anyway, you did :)

Very nice, colors shadows, fallen leaves all captured superbly. As far as the path goes it's a little too straight and narrow for me. I see the light at the end of the tunnel but it's long long way to go (with no tease that the end may be just around the bend). Jas

Dreamy Patti. What a wonderland to walk through and you've presented it to perfection. The color, clarity, lighting, all of it is outstanding. Excellent post. Thanks for taking us there.

Very good. I agree with Jas though, it's a little too straight and narrow for me. I did like the fog picture.

What a neat path this would be to walk! It does look just as you described it..peaceful & quiet! Funny how those trees can cut the noise down so much! Excellent shot Patti! :)

I won't be going anywhere near there at night John - reason: there is a large graveyard immediately behind me!!! lol! so the eyes would most likely not be wild animals, unless it was a werewolf! arghhh! the thought! ;)

and Daniel there is no noise to cut down - this village is tiny and in the middle of countryside, in fact don't shout or you will frighten the residents! :)

Wonderfully majestic trees - a glorious line of them. And what a splendid, straight forward path, as far as one can see. Great greens, browns and touchs of purple for colours. I like the tunnel effect & the light at the end - where does it go to? Kudos Patti, for a beauty of a scene :*>
