....and that is exactly where the Salzach flows - a very beautiful and rapid flowing river with many bridges. The old town where I stayed is on the right hand side with the castle out of sight on the hill and the new town is on the left. The museum of modern art takes you right up to the top of the next hill to a hilltop cafe/restaurant with a view over the city (what a way to enjoy a cup of coffee, especially on such a beautiful day) - and immediately behind the museum there is a woodland walk right around the hill with panoramic views over the town from all angles ....so if you want to join me, don't lag behind and you know how I get lost in woods, so I need a guide! lol! ;)

Girl, you are getting wicked with that Canon. This is so sharp you could cut yourself on it. What lens are you using? This thing is in perfecft focus from front to rear. I had a ball studying all those structures, not because I had to, but because of your expertise...I could. Well done.

What a lovely town this is Patti! Is that an eagle I see in the upper left of your shot? Whatever he is he seems to be enjoying the view as much as I am..=)

I like the architecture of the buildings. I can't put my finger on it, but it's somthing about how smooth and cleanlined they look, but at the same time give a feeling that they are much older. The frame is a bit unusual, but it works with the silver window's XP theme I guess. The bird distracts me a bit, but otherwise great shot!

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill
