This is quite a gathering Patti and looks as though they're all getting along very well. I like the lighting in this- it gives it almost a dreamlike appearance. Very nicely presented.

What a grand performance they're giving us..a totally wonderful rendition of a perennial favorite. I wish I could have seen this in person. It must have been fun to view so many beautiful birds in one place. I think as do others, so I see, that you did an excellent job of "fixing" whatever the problem was with the lighting that you had to work with. Came out just right for the subject of your upload..thanks ;)PJ

Hi Patti,
What I Like About Your Composition: It's uniqueness. this is the most ducks and geese gathered together in one spot that I have ever seen. This can be studied for a long time.Love the clarity and focus. The compsosition is well balanced.
Suggestions: I'm betting that the white balance was set to "sunshine" for this shady capture. Had it been set to shade, it would have warmed up this capture a little.
Conclusion: I really like this. It's a keeper.

I can just see you Patti...A tight trouser-suit with a 'tu-tu' attached.....that would make John's day eh!....
Have to agree with Pat.....If the camera setting was set to cloudy, it would have made a helluva difference to this.....It it a beautiful shot, full of 'eye clutter'...(Makes the eye busy!)
someone must have a had a few loaves there?....nice one love!

The sunshine on the water makes me think that very shortly they will all swim off into the sunset, while foofy music plays in the background. It is a great picture in so many ways. The swans look so superior and the two white ducks on the left look as though they belong in someones bath. As for greedy guts long neck there in the foreground - too busy to pose for the camera :) It is quite surreal, and very unique.

I don't think it's too dark at all Patti, if that's what the day was like at that time then that's what I want to see - a beautiful scene, as it was, through your eyes. I think it's lovely as it is.
