.......early Sunday evening in Macclesfield Cheshire, a town anticipating the coming festivities with it's newly erected Christmas Tree. On any other time in the week, this area would be filled with people, market stalls and a buzzing atmosphere. This weekend everywhere has come alive - I was shopping with my daughter today and we were singing 'Happy Christmas everyone' with the background music! I am looking forward to seeing all the Christmas images that will be posted over the next few weeks. OK! better take off my Santa hat, I look a bit silly! lol!

A wonderfull evening setting you've posted for us here Patti. was just wondering how it would look with snow ! that would realy give a real Christmas feel to the image, and would make a great Christmas wishing postcard ! It has become a beauty.

Very good Patti. As mentioned above, just a tad of snow would be great (not that it isn't anyhow!)

I really love the fact that it's dark but I can see the details so clearly. Great composition, too, Patti ... now go Deck those Halls, eh? LOL

A lovely scene Patti, makes me wish for a 'proper' winter Christmas, something I have not had since 1966!
The only thing I would do to improve this masterpiece would be to clone out the danger signs and the tv aerial, then it would have a more timeless look.
