...this photograph was taken from exactly the same spot as the previous two from Gawsworth. I just saw the glow across the fields and so many times I think - now that would make a good photo - now I am disciplining myself to put on the brakes, pull in and take advantage of those moments, because they all too quickly pass. Hope you are enjoying these autumn scenes. I have one other to post which I will post tomorrow. By the way, can you see the pheasant in the field on the left - there were about 6 or 7 and they skidaddled as soon as I looked over the fence! lol!

Such a lovely place. I wish I was there... the colors are a nice and soft, as well as warm. Really love the rickety fence, small house, and the tree branches on the top of the photo. This one's got some real character.

Wonderful capture, Patti. Looked good as a thumbnail in the gallery but is jaw-droppingly good at full resolution!! So glad you stopped and shot this scene. It's a joy to look at it on my desktop.

You're doing a great job of pulling yourself together and discipline looks like it's working fine..let me know so I can apply it to myself. But of course my scenes around here are all brown and grey..okay..they're mostly grey..hardly any brown and certainly not the scintillating golden glow you've captured here. I'm so glad you're still getting color and sending it out to us...great photo :)PJ ...............p.s. don't let Kidder get over there with his gun...that pheasant is just lovely and thanks for pointing him out..he's a beauty...a better taste treat for the eye than the palate, I bet :)
