....and what a buzz with all the people busy Christmas Shopping! This is not a place to be if you like a bit of peace and quiet, but it is quite an exciting place to be with lots of atmosphere! This is 'The Triangle' shopping area of Manchester - the huge wheel on the left is in place for Christmas, and you can see the amazing 'Urbis' building at the end of the street. My daughter and I had covered nearly all the shopping mals and we stopped to have a coffee in Cafe Nero - my favourite coffee shop - they have big leather comfy chairs and we were lucky to find the best spot overlooking the whole Triangle with ceiling to floor glass windows - I love people watching, so it was a great place to observe!

Very good, young lady. Just how big is that Wheel and do you know how long it takes to set up/break down? Very clear and crisp looking photo.

oh, how quaint :P This is a very nice view and perspective, Patti. If you want REAL hustle and bustle, try coming to NYC during Christmas week, and go to Rockefeller Center..it's usually wall to wall with people, like the fibers on a plush carpet :o)

I love seeing pictures of places I have visited. The wheel looks an interesting addition, I'm sure wonderful views can be had from up there. My main memory from there is being separated from husband and son while shopping and being extreeeeemly unpopluar after several text messages - "Where the h.... are you/"
This is a lovely clear and colourful picture, I like it :)

Ah yes Patti...city sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style...in the air there's a feeling of Christmas....how nicely you've presented for us here. One can feel the hustle and bustle and the holiday spirit. Nicely captured and composed.

A cool shot Patti, that Urbis building looks science fiction, very strange.
