driving through the Peak District today - no hikes because it was raining and I have a bad leg - say awwww! and a cold! going for the sympathy vote here! lol! ....and although it was bleak and raining when I stopped to take this photo, you can still see just how beautiful the English countryside is! :)

I feel with you, you know why. Hope you feel better soon. Yes, this is another example, how beautiful the countryside is there. And I really wonder, how it all might look in spring, when it is so green those days.

I like this picture - and I agree although the weather looks a bit bleak the scene is lovely. I like the bit of road included, it gives great perspective.

I recommend a double hot toddy for the cold, a cold compress on the leg, and when you get better, so out and take some more shots like this one. Hope you're feeling better soon. ;-(

Too much road in here...would like to have seen it without!....Your just too soft?...If I had no feet! I would still be getting out?...lol...The pubs the place to shoot from!...rest the camera on top of a pint mug!..stops the shakes?.....

Yes,a beautiful landscape and the lines here work so well.I held some to cover over the blacktop to the left and found it even more appealing to my eye.A small detail that I might have cropped but this does not at all detract or take away from this great landscape.
