you may think the horizon is sloping, but it isn't - the hill is! :)

Looks like I'll need boots! I love the stone walls. I can almost always pick out your shots in the thumbnails because they have a definite clear quality and an appealing perspective.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I'm here to help Mr. Cowardly with the picnic basket and as for the beer. I've got that covered..as you recall I have the lease on the ice all taken care of forever after that rodeo of Dan's last summer, so I can keep it cool...if there's any left..lol...pretty pretty shot, Patti. I love your perspectives and this is no exception.

I think you are beginning to focus more on composition and that is a good thing.the planes are very strong in this one which keeps the eye moving yet travelling down that gulley.the slant is even more necessary thn the subject matter for it makes the viewer work at keeping all together..........lighting is weak point and saturation of water and shadows surrounding is a bit intense. Overall a 7

Take a look at this artitst's work: Franz Kline.expressionist from the mid 20th century; you will find his work is similar to yours here if you pay attention to planes/intersecting.

I like the angle you chose. This is really different. makes a person from the U.S. wonder where those "roads" go and what happens if you meet someone coming from the other direction. Pretty.
