....take my hand, walk with me, through leafy woodland carpet, hear the wind in the beeches, singing acapella, moving the garlands in our hair, a natural symphony, toying with senses. An extract from a beautiful poem by Peter Protheroe 'The Handfasting' (Photograph - Dunham Massey Park in Cheshire)

Oh, I am alone here. Well, that always happens, when I sing acapella. Smile. Very nice place here. I like the lights playing with the trees. Nature can be beautyful in winter too.

Yes, I'll take your hand and walk with you, however, may we leave the singing part out on my part? You can sing though. Thanks for sharing this with us, Patti. ;-)

Another poetic image. Recently, I've caught several of your images in the VT and I like your photos. This is a very beautiful landscape, with great lighting and composition. :)

WHAT IS MAN WITHOUT THE BEASTS? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. ~Chief Seattle VISIT MY GALLERY

My eye wanders through the woods to the bright open space way beyond. A beautiful walk that would be.

lovely poem you picked..and the right shot to couple it with...wouldn't it be fun to be little girls again and be friends and innocently hold hands and walk through this gorgeous scene? Pardon my inner child .

lol Bob! well not quite the car park - this was the first photograph I took at the start of my walk, leaving the car park and heading to the woodland and deer sanctuaries past the manor! So when did you come to my part of the World? This is just down the road like 2 miles from where I live. ps and even the land around the car park is beautiful don't you think!

A lovely picture lit up with mellow sunshine. A place ideal for a stroll hand in hand. The romantic poem gives it the added romantic touch. Well done, Patti.
