.......just take your mind back to last Summer~~~~~~~~ when I was at the top of Mam Tor (mother hill) in Derbyshire - remember this view? - in the distance to your left you can see Winnat's Pass. Today I parked my car and walked through the pass - it was so windy it blew all the cobwebs from my brain! lol! ...but it was worth it - looking down from mountains is amazing, but also looking up at high landscapes is amazing too!

It does look on one side like bad weather - the colors and lighting are not that great as I know it from you, but on the other side, it is still amazing. I bet, you felt very small here in the middle of those hudge hills.

Amazing sight. I wish I knew more of the geology there. Interesting rock outcroppings. The greens are beautiful, too. The road forms a nice line to let your eye follow into the center of the image. Super job.

A lovelt scene of green patti - any coincidence with the date ?
Looks a fairly deserted area - gives a nice sense of peace.

Great Place Patti, I've been ther too, and we had the same kind of weather. It is all coming back to me. But there almost happend something terrible there. One of the many Italian tourists there was driving with an English car on the right side of the road, but around the corner, there came another car on his left side on the road (but also the right side for the Italian driver), so you can guess what happend next. But luckely there was no accident, because the scottish driver could avoid hitting the other car, but we could hear the tires and brakes screaming through this valley.
Great Post btw :)

Very good again, Patti. This could have been shot in the Colorado Mnts. Love the way you captured the road to bring your 'eye' to the distance. ;-)

I thought I had someone fix the 'puter'. However, he deleted files that should not have been, therefore posting photo's will be delayed for a while. I'll still look and comment on yours. ;-( Steve

Stunning scenery, Patti, and so crisply sharp! Do I detect a touch of green saturation enhancement on the grassy hillsides?

The asphlat road look strange amongst all unspoiled landscape...I wouldn't mind going to the top, I'm a climber by nature! Such a wonderful place, that you have captured grandly. I like the sky and your funny descriptions too. :)
