.....time 1776, Edinburgh's old Observatory sitting proud on Calton Hill which overlooks Edinburgh.....oh yes I got sidetracked lol! I have abandoned my Calver photos for the moment as there is too much haze, so will have to leave the mandroid at the bottom of Curbar Edge until I return again in the next couple of weeks! lol! ;)

Very good angle on this Patti. (I'm sure 'droid' will be ok for a while} You must be taking lessons on the angle shot from Sabine. I like this a lot. ;-)

Thanks for the link, Patti. I love reading more about these grand old (to me) places. This definitely has to be seen full size, as the thumbnail does nothing to emphasize its beauty and texture. The flowering shrub in the corner frames this nicely. I'll just bet old Digi's gonna catch up to you here sooner or later ::LOL::

A wonderful structure. The clarity is oustanding, I'm impressed. I like the flowering bush, it's most becoming. A very beautiful composition and perspective, Patti. :)

Make that *quite a few months* till the sod goes rusty!...heh! heh!
I like the approach to this shot...looking upwards..gives it a good perspective and you managed it very well!...with the addition of the blooms and great sky...'Brilliant'

Wonderful really but I only want the photo, I have no interest in your title line, thus I will not save this photo. Can you not simply post the photo itself?
