...... for our resident tree hugger PJ, a tree just for you! ...so give it a hug! - can't you see it is in love with you!! lol! ....another huge tree from Tatton Park in Cheshire - I am sorry I do not know the age of the tree but it is ancient, believe me! ;) ...check the link above to read some of the history about the park which is 50 acres in total and home to two old halls, two meres and herds of deer. This tree stands outside the Old Tatton Hall, so your guess of it's age is as good as mine.

I'm sure PJ will do as it asks. I would venture to guess that it's at least as old as me and I'm older than dirt. (I think I would have liked to see more of the top included too.) Other than that, very good shot, Miss Fogz. ;-)

Well, being "Earth Day" this is a perfect theme for today Patti! I know PJ will enjoy it as all of us Caedes "tree huggers" do! Maybe with a little care from us,a lot of trees will grow to be this old! Niceley taken Ms. Patricia Fogz!

It's sort of a gnarly old tree, but I'm sure PJ will love it. Nice Pic Patti, reminds me of the trees in "Lord of the Rings".

I'm just checking out the dates and the times when it's open using the link you graciously sent and making my travel plans, Patti...and it's not too expensive, I see, to get in to hug that marvelous old tree, but I'm sure I'd need help to reach all the way 'round it so I'll have to have all of us meet and do the BIG HUG and then maybe we could all sit underneath the old lovely and have a picnic, snap pics and talk the afternoon away. What a great plan, Patti. Thanks for this wonderful tree pic and for thinking of me ::HUGS TO YOU::

* I see that you are suggesting, PJ is big enough to put her arms around this biggun?...* he! he!..
I see above that she likes it, and is making plans to journey over here...I can imagine the 'havoc' you two would get up to then?....

Oh Nice post though!

Yep, that tree could could tell a tale or two, probably all the way back to knights dashing around on horses. Great work.
