Patti, wish I could be 'wild an free', like in my youth, again. Now it's the turn to youngsters (and flowers?). Not particular your image but more the title of your image makes me nostalgic. Regards, Cornelius

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
A gorgeous take on this flower. The composition and lighting are beautiful. I love wildflowers. About your title, I feel that it touches a chord in us - the longing to be free and wild while we're trying to be reasonable and responsible adults. Great beauty in this portrait. :)
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

A very nice and soft focused flower Patti, i hope you will take up flower photography yourself, i have found it to be great fun.
Do you have a botanical garden near Manchester ? that would make things easy.
You have the lot, without having to search for them, and just make your pic.
Simply a gorgeous bouquet of wild flowers and they remind me of times when my children have brought them to me and presented them so proudly, sometimes wilted and sweaty from the heat of their palms ...nice little mind vacation you've given me..thanks for the fresh flowers, Patti, and this one is certainly not wilted a bit!! :)
