.........back in Scotland! you never know what is coming next do you! I like to keep you on your toes! lol! Just behind where we are now is Edinburgh Castle and this road aptly named 'the royal mile' leads through the city to Holyrood Palace and has some of the most beautiful and historic buildings lining its route. The brightly lit building on the left is the Camera Obscura which is an outlook tower at the top of the hill and the brightly lit building on the right is the famous Witchery Restaurant:O ~ mind the ghosties! ;)

I like this one. Very clear - you can even count the bricks in the road. Thanks. And what's for dinner at the Witchery?

Recognised this even before I enlarged it. Walked round Edinburgh old town quite a few times and been to the Tattoo twice. :o) This is really nice. Good exposure, focus and colour.

I don't eat with ghosts, it ruins my appetite when my food moves across the table. LOL Of course I could roar to scare them off but then they'd throw me outside. :) Great job Patti, if it's the royal mile you probably need no limit plastic to shop there. LOL

Great shot Patti, I have been there many times and I think this is the first I have seen it without people. It`s always mobbed. The only thing to remember (as I said to PhilUk a while ago) is the best thing about Edinburgh is the train to Glasgow. Really good low light shot. Top job.

I really like the feeling I get when I look at this photo. Its so filled with drama and mystery too. The lighting adds to that.I can almost feel the silence of the night on the little road that leads to something maybe surprising around the bend.Maybe a lovely little cafe, open all night, romantic and suited for two people quietly whispering about their dreams to one another. Very nicely done. Verena
