......an idyllic little village not far from the roman town of Chester in Cheshire. The view reminded me of a Constable painting - like something from the past. If you look to the farside there are two young boys fishing!

Wow! Nice framing with the tree, beautiful reflections, lovely greens, superb sky. Nothing missing here, even a bench for 'owd' Bob and 2 white birds flying away. I wish I knew what the sign said and why it is planted in the middle of the pond... A new favorite from you. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful post Patricia! Reflection of the house is real neat! That's John & I fishing over there. I loaned him some clothes so he could travel incognito! LOL Real nice shot here Ms. Fogz! C):-)

Idyllic place indeed...This is such a beautiful setting. All that green, lovely water and houses. Fantastic composition Patti. By the way, I have on the DT Royal Mile. I'm completely enchanted by it! :)
Definitely a Constable picture!...and a grand shot too!...
did you know the word Chester is Roman for 'Fort'...look at all the Chester's around ie: Binchester!...Bin-Fort???
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Patti, beautiful image of Christleton. In your description you said that Christleton is not that far from Chester. Long time ago I visited Chester while our ship stayed in Liverpool for a port call. I remember still the variety of architectual monuments there e.g. the half-timbered houses. Really hope that you was in Chester too (with camera of course, as at the time I was there, there only were analog cameras). Thanks anyhow for this, as I already said, beautiful image. Regards, Cornelius
I don't know how you guys do it over there. So many cultivated rural views...a photographer's dream, and for once I got here early enough to be able to comment. Usually there's such a waiting line, that I get discouraged !!! Something about the early bird? LOL ...lovely shot, my friend.
A beautiful, peaceful scene. The way you have photographed it is excellent - with the green grass in front, the lake and then the villa right at the back with a friendly (non-typical for west coast of England :) ) sky as a back drop. Well done, Patti.
