....to a woodland path beyond the lake and the out of focus trees and fence in the distance give this a mysterious feel, whilst the gate is in focus and inviting ......so who knows where it will take you to. :)
Super sweet perspective on the take, and having the owd gate only in focus adds a real appeal to the capture!! Warming shot as the gate looks to have never been closed...only open, such as arms to anyone wanting to enter!!
Oh this is very nice Patti, wonderful colours and the gate seems to say....I've never been closed to anyone wanting to come this way. :) Dan's hidin' down there I can tell......tryin' to get out of buyin' that cheeseburger. LOL

Sorry I haven't been posting lately. Been lazy(?). I have been looking at your postings though, even if I haven't commented as much as I would like.

This is super Patti! The old weathered gate and fence against the nice green grass and colorful flowers looks great! I like the path too leading us away into your shot! Awesome work! C):-)

This is very pretty and poetic. What a lovely place and ambience. Would be wonderful to enter...Love the textures on the gateposts. Great work Patti. :)
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Through the gate and over the bridge to Grandmother's house we go... ok I know that's a paraphrase! Lovely, inviting pic. And a thanks to the person who planted that rhododendron many years ago.
Oh I've got to add this one to my favorites :) I love little paths like this, they look so inviting and lovely. You've captured this one with the perfect angle too. Very nice!
