..........and ahead you see one of two reservoirs which are nestled in a valley in Derbyshire known as Goyt Valley! This is where I was late afternoon on Sunday ...and if you look to the top right of the photograph you will see the the Cat & Fiddle Pub, highest pub in NorthWest England standing at 1690ft above sea level.

I simply love the perspective of this photo Patti. I feel as though I'm driving in my car or walking down this road taking in all this beauty. Such a beautiful place to enjoy.

Oh Patti, this is beautiful! I love your perspective with the road taking us into the shot. I can imagine riding a bicycle right down to the resevoir :)

What a great place to have a house! Such pretty scenery all around, and a short walk with a fishing rod to the water!! I recall the Cat & the Fiddle very well from our last visit there..although John may not recall it very well. His dancing on the tables was just a bit out of line..did he ever pay for the damages?? LOL Great shot Patti! C):-)

I remember the Cat & the Fiddle too!...something to do with the Moon! was it!.
I love the lead-in road to the reservoir, makes the eye follow it...No need for one to the pub!..my senses do that automatically!

Patti, lately I was watching your, by me collected, Derbyshire images. I can say you that it has become a very impressive collection, showing the beauty of Derbyshire. I think it don't surprise you that this beautiful image will be added to this collection as well. Thank you for bringing us all that beauty. Regards, Cornelius

Another reason why I am always that proud, when you say nice things about my own work is, that I am always that impressed about your work. It is as if I was a singer and ........ (put in the name of your favorite singer) tells me, that I sing very good. Smile. This image is another example of your great work. It is the perfect mix of feeling, great colors and the perfect motive.
