..........standing at the head of the Monsal Dale Valley .....and usually I would expect to walk some way and climb some hills to be rewarded with this view, but at this point you can park your car (in the pub car park hmmm) and not have to make any effort - it is all there before you ....so when I am around this area of Derbyshire I usually stop off to do just that. ....and this is for all my friends who nominated me for the spotlight ...thank you, it means a lot! now back to the pub and crack open a bottle! lol! sorry! I cannot be serious for long! :)

~tags along in hopes of gettin' a free beer~

I always thought that would be the best name ever for a band..."Free Beer"!! People drive by the pub and the sign outside sez "Tonight", "Live Band", "Free Beer"...that'd be one packed place!! *~Q I know, I know...my brain is priceless!!

Snazzy scape P-doll!! This would make for a wicked Par 6...the flag of course on the plateau above...where else!! :~O

"P-doll"?!? Sheesh!! But great picture, with wonderful array of greens, and who else would have thought to have placed one of the focal points so close to the bottom lefthand corner? And it works so well, too. Excellent shot.
