...........this is Bronte country ...Saddleworth Moor. I have been to Leeds today which is an 80 mile round trip and I took the route off the motorway on the way home and travelled over Saddleworth Moor. Notice the very few trees - this is typical of moorland. It did take me twice as long to come back, but maybe that was because I kept pulling into laybys to take photographs! There was a man selling flowers in this layby - I would like to have kept him in but it didn't look quite right! sooo unfortunately he had to go! :O

This landscape looks, as if I simply could reach my hand and touch it. That would be wonderful, lying there and looking up to that great blue sky.

Patti, just when I think you couldn't possibly impress me any more you have to go and post something like this. I just love the contrast between the clouds and the rustic fence and earthy landscape. =)

Once again you did an awesome job. Love how the eye follows the fence and ends with the clouds. Great post.

I got confused on your description of the man selling flowers too. Now you've got me curious as to what he would look like in the picture. I thought he had gotten away!!

Great shot as usual, if a tad dark, but the as to the whole of the upload, it can't be beat :)

I really like how you used the fence in this...it definitely commands your attention, but doesn't take your focus away from the rest of the scene...very nicely done, as usual!!
