.....not what you thought!!! lol! ;) ........these pink boats on Manchester Ship Canal brightened up what was a very dull day today contrasting brightly with the overcast blanket grey of the sky!
Your have captured so many angles and shapes. It is extraordinary, like a table top puzzle. And you are so correct about the contrast of the boats to the rest of the shot. Nice framing too!
I bet there's a Yellow Submaring lurking beneath the waters. I do like the contrast. It looks like one little pinkie hasn't made it home yet and the rest are getting worried. Hopefully it's ok. Nice post.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Very colourful, and how many triangles have you got in this one! You certainly found a remedy for those dull skies you're having, this pink is positively glowing. Are you on commission though? I had to look up what Laser Pico was all about. I want one!

Patti, those tiny boats are too small for me. If I was sailing in such boats, two possibilities exist: they would either sink or make me seasick (?). Think it's good, they are not meant for me. Although the sky is grey the sails are still bringing some 'sunshine' in your image. Well done. Regards, Cornelius
I'm glad Nigel left that link on Pico...strange coincidence..I was in Manchester, NH today and there was a walk-a-thon for breast cancer and there was a lot of pink there too!! No boats though :(
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
I like the line they make...very bright sails.
