.....and back to the three Shires and my walk last Saturday! You have sat down long enough!!! - up on your feet and let's head out - just a couple of hills to walk over and a stroll by a river, a few styles to climb over, a river to swim, an ocean to sail! oops! I got carried away! LOL! :):)

Just a couple of hills? And will it not start to rain? I am not sure. But still the colors are nice and inviting. I think I will join you.

Another one of your excellent landscape photos. Those hills look as if I am going to be exhausted trying to climb over them ;-). Beautiful shot!

I don't see any sheep dogs. Probably because I don't see a tree for miles. Great vista you have here Patti. You are so good at them. Loved your narrative too. Like the colors and the rolling hills effect. Good post.

Are you carrying a tripod cross-country, cross-river and ocean? My goodness, I would be worn out just with the thought of that much work!!! You have another beautiful shot here which immediately went to the Fogz hard-drive on my computer where is royally belongs.

I love the beautiful greens, the sheep, and then the layers of browns and tans that give way to the haze that adds such depth to this. Wouldn't change a thing except to hang it on my wall.

Wow! What a landscape of strong contrasts! The green foreground and tawny far hills make for a wonderful combination. I'm tagging along on this hike...as long as there's a bench to sit down on somewhere? (Well, Bob forgot to mention it!) :)

Blimey, remind me to get in training before I ever come out on a walk with you! Bet you'd have us doing aerobics at the summit as well if you could!!

This is the kind of rolling, gentle shot that sums up the whole area to me. I get a bit geological - the lumpy hills make me think of the ice sheets that sculpted them and the erosion that's rounded them over millions of years. And flat caps and James Herriot. Eee if only you could bottle it!
