.....yes this is Hope Valley in Derbyshire and the little village of Castleton. You have seen this before from another vantage point but you may not remember (not Peveril Castle as I know your memories are not that bad! lol!), .....so just as a reminder cast your minds back *waves a watch in front of their eyes* to here and now you will see that the hill in the distance is no other than my favourite hill 'Mam Tor'. Forgive the quality of the photograph - it is taken way back! The road to the left leads you through Winnats Pass and further on to the the road which winds its way between the hills and past Mam Tor and Rush Up Hill. OK you can wake up now!!! Do you remember anything?? ...now I know all your secrets!!! lol!

Wow! That is one super duper shot. I love everything about it. The hills in the distance are just as clear as the rest of the picture. This is a fav for sure.

Great view Patti. You are so good at this. The clarity just grabs your eyeballs and tosses them back and forth like olives in a Martini. Gee, I kinda got off track for a minute. This is awesome photo. Are most of the buildings homes or businessess we see? If they're homes, are they single dwelling or apartments? Is there a real estate agent handy? It's so pretty I think I'll move? Whoops, where's the golf course? Get back to me on that if you would. Good one fogz.

the buildings you see there Tick are homes - either bungalows, cottages, detached houses, semi detached houses and terraced houses. Nearer the village there are shops, restaurants and pubs. The view I showed you yesterday is just to the right of what you see here - and yes there is also a golf course in Hope Valley not too far away. ;)

A fabulous Fogz if ever I saw one. No wonder it's your favourite hill, it performs magnificently for your camera! Once again I spotted this in the 'new' gallery and knew it was yours. It has your paw prints all over it! This one's a beauty Patti, the light's wonderful in the valley.

Wow Patti ... you clicked off a beauty here. Sunlight and shadow over a gorgeous vista all nice and sharp, from up close to the hills in the distance. If you don't mind, I'll take a raincheck on the "trance" routine. I've enough trouble remembering my name. Harry :)
