....another painting from the Vatican Museums ...I am not sure which gallery this one is from.... but if I get time I will do some research and post some more information. I went through many galleries en route to the Sistine Chapel, so it was easy to loose track! :)

Patti, you really captured the painting and surrounding well. I have seen other pictures taken in these museums and it seems that lighting is a problem. Yet, your photos have been so well lit and full of detail. You have done wonders with lighting.

I know what you mean - I have a raft of them from those galleries, no idea what half of them are and none so well taken as this. Soon you will be in the Chapel and hearing 'Shhh" and wishing you could use your camera:)

You did get lots of detail in this. She reminds me of the Columbia films logo, the woman holding a torch. Lovely shot.

I bet this is a place, where you could spend a week, just looking around and doing photos. I like this a lot - You captured that drawing and its colors very nice.
