Tick's right about those chairs - what a travesty. How impressive is this room?! There's a real 'downwards' motion in the walls which is mesmerising. It's incredibly opulent Patti.
Great shot Patti. Looks like very few people around. In the middle of summer you can hardly move! It looks like it was a nice sunny day too. I heard that it looks amazing when it rains. For those not in the know there is a 30 foot diameter hole in the roof!! I Like the new sassy icon!!

*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Wonderful image again Patti. The only (minor) thing to me is that they've placed very modern chairs in a centuries old cultural and historical environment. Probably there was no other possibility and that's a pity to me. Regards, Cornelius
Beautifully Capture Patti. I must say, the cheap 21st century chairs really take a while from the Old World Charm of this Great setting. You should have removed them Patti. Just Kidding. LOL.

It sure does say someting about the times where labour costed nothing and stones where costly, now it is reversed. It sure is as you already said well preserved.
The only shame is those out of place plastic China "shipped in large numbers" chairs.
It gives the total image of a 1965 "made in HongKong" look. This is of no part a failure to your shot, you just showed us what it is like right now, and that is what i am here for. I just hope you got a shot of the roof to ! will wait for that. It is huge.
This is perfect in balancing the contrast which is neat and smooth inside the structure. About the Pantheon from the greek παν θεόν which means " all religions" was built by the Emperor Adriano on the 27 a.C. and currently is a catholich church which keep buried the former Italian Kings Vittorio Emanuele II of Savoy, Umberto I of Savoy, his wife Margherita of Savoy, the peinters: Raffaello Sanzio ed Annibale Carracci, the composer Arcangelo Corelli, and the architect Baldassarre Peruzzi. Hope this helps.
