Quite a stunning view. I like the bare bones look of the trees and the silhouetting. The green in foreground really adds. Just a great post Patti.

Except we have leaves on the trees it is much the same as what I see from my window - just when I read we are having the 'best sumer since 1999' Suppose the sun can't shine every day!

This has heaps of atmosphere and is beautifully composed. The clarity of the branches against the sky makes i a winner

Curious how difficult weather produces such wonderful captures! It looks gloomy and foreboding. I love the dramatic atmosphere. :)

You made me think of Larry Grayson with the title of this one!! I haven't thought of him in years - I saw him in panto once as a kid. Only you could come up with something like this on a miserable day, the sky actually adds rather than detracts. Nice work.

One who is making such captures has no reason to hibernate or to emigrate. Congrats with this super(!!) image Patti.

I like the mood in this. Makes me want to stay inside and watch TV. I would rather have the weather in this picture than the snow we are getting right now. Very nice, Patti.
