.....around the port of Essaouira is a small fortification and even here you can find the beautiful rugs and materials and other produce on sale. I liked the view through the archway. The sun is still very high, hence a slight overexposure in parts, but I liked it enough to post. Hope you enjoy it.

Am I stupid or does this look like somewhere in Israel? Is the country close to there? This is really something Patti! It must have been really a sight to see!

Reminds me a lot of the old city in Rhodes, Greece. Love the perspective here, Patti.

To lose the exposure like this...tone down the white balance settings to 'cloudy'....That's a £5 fee you owe me for tuition!..lol..

I like the format...gives an insight to a mysterious 'Casbah'!

Don't tell me you wore the Sari...did you?...

A lovely bit of work!

I really like the framing Patti. It gives the perspective of a narrow corridor. It almost feels like a tunnel. Good work.

So evocative of the soukh. You did well to get this exposure at all Patti, no hope of avoiding the burnouts. I like the colour palette in these shots and you bring it out well in the frames. Love the inclusion of the carving on the stonework too.

Oh I think this is exceptional! I didn't notice the overexposure til you mentioned it. The mid and foreground dominates enough that the overexposure isn't blaring. I'm enthralled with the sights, imagining the scents and sounds of this exotic culture :) It's wonderful!
