My appreciation goes to Tom- " Piner"who did an excellent job of cleaning this photo up to par. I have resubmitted this because this is an animal few people will have the experience of seeing. This is a rare white alligator captured off the coast of Hilton Head Island .This one is only about 2 feet long..It now resides at Riverbanks Zoo. Often confused with an albino, this one has brown eyes and is not sensitive to sunlight. His coloring though does indeed make him more prone to predators .With Piners help this is now a photo to behold. Thanks Piner :)

Amazing ... I've never seen a white alligator before. Piner did a superb job on the clean-up and outstanding clarity & lighting. A great capture Eileen ... I'm glad you reposted this & thanks for the description on this gator. Excellent work to the both of you.

Really cool image! This may seem morbid, but he reminds me of the white chocolate bunnies at Easter... I was tempted to take a bite out of him. Before he takes one out of me at any rate. LOL Thanks for sharing it!

That is amazing Eileen! I didn't know you could get White 'gators. Mind you, we don't get many of the normal kind either in the UK LOL I haven't seen the original but this one is excellent.
