I love to see these flowers bloom because I know cooler weather is just around the corner. The blooms last for about a week, then form a grassy border- like plant. Perfect for where you want to add a splash of color.A very low maintenance plant that rewards you with it's beauty and versatility year after year. Thanks everyone for viewing and leaving a comment if you wish.

Nice flowers but I am not a fan of cooler weather. We get 150 to 200 inches of snow every winter. Brrrrrrr.

I've never seen or heard of these before, Eileen, but after seeing your marvelous photo, I'm going to check out what climates they'll survive in. This is so pretty and I really enjoy the perspective here. Thanks!

Titus 3:5-7, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6: Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7: That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." Why did Jesus Christ have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven? It is THROUGH Jesus Christ's blood that He saved us from Hell. If we could get to heaven on our own then Jesus Christ would've had to die again and again. If you ANY questions please pm me.
