This is one of the many small islands around Swan Lake where a nice nap can be enjoyed after a tummy full of bread LOL.Looks like a couple of them are getting ready for just that. Hope you enjoy and thanks so much for your views and comments.

What an ideal habitat for my feathered friends. I'm crazy about this scene Eileen and particularly the way you composed this. Wishing I were there with my camera waiting for an opportunity for a great bird capture. Think I'll tuck this one away in my favorites for future daydreaming. Thank You!

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Awesome looking swans Eileen! I love the colors on them..ours are only white around here. Nice of you to give them a meal while visiting! The trees in this look so neat!! Great job..the soft shadows give this the feel of an oil painting. Nice, nice nice!! C):-)

What a great place to take photos of these beautiful birds. A bright green forest with a bird feeder in the middle, I am on my way. Great work Eileen.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

ahhhh I see it is a black swan - how beautiful! - you don't see too many of them in the UK! gliding along the water in it's own little haven hidden from sight - I like the way you took this through the branches of the shrubs and the light playing on the trunks of the trees of the trunks Eileen! :)

This is superb. It's a keeper. Looks like a swamp to me. I love the way that one cypress tree is is lighted up at the bottom in the background. Love the lighting on this as well. It's spooky but beautiful.

A great place for the little flying friends and the surroundings look very 'rain forest'. Remind me or my trip to Oregon. Nicely captured and well composed Eileen. Thanks.
