I thought I would dabble in something new for a change. A photo of a nearby lake that I've manipulated . I'm really interested in hearing your views on this- good or bad. Thanks everyone!

Due to the recent slow down of the site, my comments and thank you's have been few as it was very time-consuming...will catch up ASAP...meanwhile, a group thank you to all and keep up the great work everyone.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Just goes to show: miss a day of logging onto Caedes and you run the risk of missing beautiful images such as this!
Superb shot in every way: composition, clarity and colour and above all, extremely easy on the eye as a desktopper. Love the panoramic sizing, which works a treat on a widescreen laptop. Excellent and a VB 10. Now it's my turn to say you've surpassed yourself, my dear!
Nice perspective (don't you just love the new resolution format?).
Not too sure about the manipulation... although I certianly like the blue palette I think I would have preferred it to be sharper and more photographic, than the sort of watercolor effect this has. Judging by the c-index though it would appear I am in the minority!
Titus 3:5-7, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6: Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7: That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Why did Jesus Christ have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven? It is THROUGH Jesus Christ's blood that He saved us from Hell. If we could get to heaven on our own then Jesus Christ would've had to die again and again.
If you ANY questions please pm me.
Not Good. Not Bad. GREAT! What an interesting image. It is cropped beautifully and I truly enjoy the landscape. It seems the manip really improved the image, which is usually hard to do. Great work!
