Patches of driftwood such as this were anchored along the coast of Cumberland Island, washed ashore as if it were their destiny. Some of the largest I have ever seen. Hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by.
Magnificent!!! The tree itself is wonderful, but I also think you took an absolutely perfect capture of it! Especially the lighting and what it did to the colors. cheers, Quiet

Am I wrong or is this just a great example of how diagonals can work for you. Tree looks like it has tentacles and is walking down the beach. Like the splashes of light on tree and beautiful view of ocean in background. Great photo Eileen.
Real neat shot Eileen! Looks like most all of a tree here! Very pretty sky background, and the mix of sun & shadows works real nice! Good work beachcomber! C);-)

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
