Jesus is ALIVE! This is a rise, by the way...7:30 a.m. I meant to get the ocean clear and the Bible out of focus, so I set the camera down in the sand and the horizon was tilted. But the Bible is straight, so that's what makes the picture!

what a good idea... I love the soft colors of the sunset. Too bad the horizon is tilted and maybe the focus would be better on the Bible. But it all depends on what effect you wanted I guess... well done, and Happy Easter!

This is such a splendid Easter tribute. The religous sybolism aside, the imaginative composition is just great. I feel like I could really be on the shores of the Sea of Galilee! I hope you have had a rejoiceful and happy Easter time.

HAPPY EASTER!!
I like this picture. The slightly skewed angle gives the picture a unique feel, and it works. The Bible slightly blurred gives you the feeling that the viewer was reading it at first, then looked up suddenly at the ocean. The colors reflecting off the water are lovely, and the focus on the waves is nice and crisp. All in all, a very nice shot.
Happy Easter again. Lets remember the reason for all the little bunnies and chicks and flowers, is to represent the new life we have in Christ Jesus, because of the Blood he shed on the cross, and because he rose from the Dead.
God conquered death so that we might have access to Salvation. That is what Easter is all about.

I think you could pretty easily put it into a photo editor and square the horizon line. It would make this look a lot tighter.
